Alex Eala continues to make strides in the world of tennis with her recent showing at the Bad Homburg Open in Germany. The tournament proved especially memorable for the Filipina athlete, as she teamed up with tennis legend Venus Williams in the women's doubles event.

"Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought that I’d have the privilege of competing alongside you on court," Alex gushed on her Instagram account after playing alongside Venus. The duo enjoyed a strong debut at the Open, winning their opening match together.
They bowed out in the quarterfinals after an intense face-off against Tereza Mihalikova and Olivia Nicholls. Regardless, Alex and Venus were met with immense cheers from the crowd. "Immensely grateful to learn from you," the Filipina prodigy wrote to her partner online.
Both athletes are expected to step on the historic Wimbledon court on June 29, with Venus playing alongside her sister Serena, while Alex becomes the first Filipina singles player to be seeded at a Grand Slam.
For their joint appearance at Bad Homburg, the pair repped their respective brand partnerships through their choice of footwear. As a true-blue Nike girl, Alex stayed faithful to the Vapor Pro 3 during their match, keeping things monochromatic with her all-white look. Meanwhile, as the face of Lacoste, Venus enlisted the AG-LT Ultras to support her performance. If you're keen to shop the look, both the Nike and Lacoste models are available online.
