The first-ever Philippine Women's Open launched last January 26 at the Rizal Memorial Tennis Center. Among the players competing is the highest-ranking Filipina tennis player, Alex Eala, who outdid Russia's Alina Charaeva at their match. To boost her performance, the 20-year-old prodigy laced up a pair of sneakers made specially for the court.

Alex had a stellar opening at the cross-national competition, clad in a blue tennis dress and neon-hued trainers. As a certified Nike girl, she matched the subtle tones of her racquet with her kicks—namely, the Vapor Pro 3 in a light lemon twist colorway.

The Vapor Pro 3 is ergonomically made to bounce with its wearer. The pair makes use of Air Zoom cushioning, which utilizes a uniquely manufactured rubber that's lighter on the feet. The black accents aren't purely for design, as they also deflect water to keep an athlete's feet dry. It's primed to last to match point, which is familiar territory for a champ like Alex.

Whether you're an aspirant or a veteran, you can shop for the exact pair for P7,595.
