Finding a photo of Cameron Diaz’s wedding dress, who wed Good Charlotte vocalist Benji Madden on Monday night, is like looking for meaning in any of her movies. Like, where did it go? And what is it with these celebrities making huge announcements only to leave us out of the loop come the big day? You know what they say, if it isn’t on Instagram then it didn’t happen.
What we do know is that Cameron walked down the aisle in a backless gown with heaps of sparkle to Nat King Cole’s track “Stardust,” while her bridesmaids all wore black while carrying white flowers.
Indeed it was an intimate ceremony as we haven’t heard a peep from any of the guests—Nicole Richie (wife of Benji’s twin brother Joel), Drew Barrymore (Charlie’s Angels co-star and her reported bridesmaid), and Gwyneth Paltrow (known to be quite loose with her smartphone).
Another thing that we do know is that Cameron slipped into a second dress—a white, floor-length, embellished number with short sleeves—before the cake was cut at 10pm, a source told Us Weekly.
Another thing that was short? Their engagement (which seems to be a thing with celebrities these days.) Having announced it in November, Cameron only had roughly two months to get everything together. Benji says that she was very hands on with the planning and that he only had a say in the cake and the music.
We almost can't blame her for speeding things up, its hard to resist a rocker’s charm.
‘Till then, we’ll be on the lookout for photos of the dress.
