What was it like being the host of Philippine Fashion Week TV?
Working with Philippine Fashion Week feels like being part of theatre sometimes. It's months of preparation, all for one week of shine time.

What does it involve?
Being the host of Philippine Fashion Week TV requires being at every single show at PFW, every season—to introduce the collection, interview the solo show designers, the clients, and VIP's in the audience.

What's great about it?
The energy behind any Fashion Week in the world is always amazing. I love being around this creativity that is practically palpable, and seeing individuals flourish with time—be they designers, models, directors, or hair/make up stylists. And having access to the latest designer collections before anybody else? Super bonus!

How did you prepare for it?
There's really not much you can do to prepare for PFW TV, other than know your business. Know what designers have put out in the past, or what their inspiration was for this collection, and be able to make an on the spot analysis of what you're seeing on the runway. I grew up in this industry, so I've been blessed with years of insight from the gurus in the Philippine fashion scene, which helps me understand what makes or breaks a designer presentation each season. Arm that with thick skin, and the ability to formulate a script on the fly, and you're good to go.
