What To Wear When Attending A Wedding

Here's how you can look your prettiest without upstaging the bride.
What To Wear When Attending A Wedding Here's how you can look your prettiest without upstaging the bride.

Even when we’re not the bride, we do get slightly stressed in finding an outfit appropriate for someone else’s altar date. First, you think of the location. Is it a destination wedding? Will you have to pack? Then you consider the theme. Must you really follow the color scheme? You’re just going to sit there and get drunk at the reception anyway.

So to help you prep for the next wedding you’ll be attending, we come up with three outfit options for three of the most common wedding venues where couples decide to get hitched.

The Beach

The best thing about attending a wedding here is not having to worry about heels. Rock a pair of flats that brings the glam as you make your way down sandy isles in finding your seat.

The Church

Churches can be tricky seeing that you’ll probably want to wear something a bit more revealing for the reception. Obviously you can’t change outfits—you’re not the bride! So wear something that comes in a modest length and shows just the right amount of skin without raising the brows of the mother superiors.
