Another Filipina designer is staking her position in the fashion frontier of the United States. Designer Pia Gladys Perey is now designing for Sex and the City's style duenna, Patricia Field for the latter's online boutique. Pia just presented her premiere collection for the Emmy Award-winning costume designer after debuting in the States in Miami Fashion Week last March.
Her premiere collection was inspired by Greek mythology, so the garments are ethereal, graceful, and very feminine. Her fabric choices include silk jersey and charmeuse, while her color palette gravitated towards champagne and nudes to emphasize understated elegance.
