Congrats! You made it to the halfway point of 2016, this calls for a celebration! And by celebration, we mean treating yourself to a little something special—sneakers, perhaps? Okay, okay, we’re making up another excuse to shop. But can you blame us? Scroll down to see the new pairs of kicks we set our eyes on and see if you can resist the urge to get a pair for yourself.
Saucony Jazz Original Chicago Dog (P3095)
The latest addition to Saucony’s Jazz Originals is a shoe inspired by a hotdog. Yup! Inspired by the colors and all the goodness of the Chicago Dog is a shoe with the exact same name. The best part? Lazy Bastard (in Jupiter, Makati) celebrates the release of this shoe by creating a limited edition Chicago Dog flavor you can get the whole month of June.
Nike Air Pegasus 83 Laser Premium
Blame it on our nude lip obsession, but we instantly fell in love with this pair! The clean look of the Vachetta Tan colorway is so chic, we can't wait to pair them with both jeans and dresses. Plus, now that the rainy season has officially begun, we need to take extra care of our white sneaks and call for backups. The real dilemma, now, is to hunt for this shoe.
adidas Baby Blue ZX Flux in Primeknit
Although everyone is talking about the Stan Smith Primeknits, we’ve honestly had our fill of that style and would rather lust over the baby blue ZX Flux! We mean, look at that pastel shoe looking so fresh in Primeknit. The official colorway hasn’t been announced yet, but we imagine it would be something dreamy.
Keds Kickstart in Mesh (P2995)
You didn’t think this list would be complete without a pair of white sneakers, right? No amount of rain can stop us from hoarding white kicks, and this June we have set our eyes on the Keds Kickstart in mesh.
Nike Air Presto Ultra Flyknit (P8095)
If you wore Prestos as a child, it’s easy to fall back in love with the style that is now in flyknit. We’re seriously crushing on this gray pair that's perfect for all our athleisure OOTDs.
adidas Originals Gazelle “Perforation” Pack
Another comeback shoe that's making us go weak in the knees is the adidas Originals Gazelle. While the initial release of the other comeback kid stayed true to the OG specs, the perforation pack we’re eyeing features a high-end tweaking--a material upgrade in premium perforated nubuck. The perforated pack isn't available yet, but we’re pretty sure it'll be worth the wait.
Converse Chuck Taylor All Star II Neon (P3990)
If you want something that will brighten up a gloomy day, we suggest you check out these glow-in-the-dark Chucks. We tried the pair while playing laser tag and it didn’t fail the dark room test. Not convinced? Watch the video below to see it in action.
Now the question is, which pair would you purchase? Decisions, decisions…
