Snap weddings call for cool, casual dresses.
8 Celebrity Insta-brides And What They Wore Snap weddings call for cool, casual dresses.

The Queen may love dressing like a bride for her tours and videos, but she only revealed her real-life wedding gown three years after the fact. (Screencap via VEVO)

Bea Soriano's wedding to Eric Dee took us by surprise, as the longtime couple wed in an intimate ceremony out of town. Bea looked radiant as always in off-the-rack Rosa Clara, signaling a new trend in easy bridal dressing. No corsetry, no petticoats. Just a pretty, perfect dress that you throw on and go. Here, a roundup of other brides who looked just as relaxed on their big day (and whose weddings we didn't see coming either.)

1. Bianca Gonzalez

Three days before their scheduled wedding date in Manila, Bianca Gonzalez married basketball player JC Intal in an intimate ceremony in El Nido, Palawan. Her choice? A bohemian Rosa Clara frock, paired with a flower crown. "I am so in love with my gown and would not have worn any other," she said.

2. Beyoncé

It's a good thing Bey is obsessed with the camcorder. Years after her super secret wedding to Jay Z, the singer revealed her wedding dress - designed by Mommy Knowles! - in the video to her single "I Was Here." We think it's sweet she wore House of Dereon even if she could have the pick of any designer. Although that whole line exists for her anyway.

3. Solange

Hipster Knowles took a page from her sister and married her video director husband Alan Ferguson on an unannounced date in an undisclosed location. (Which turned out to be New Orleans.) She wore a caped look by Humberto Leon for Kenzo, as only Solange could.

4. Blake Lively

Another girl who took cues from Beyonce is Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds' wife who showed clips of herself dancing at her reception, in a promotional video for her e-commerce blog, Preserve. The bride wore Marchesa. A "hand draped silk tulle bodice adrorned with custom crystal and rose gold embroidery," said a statement from the brand.

5. Angelina Jolie

We never thought Angelina and Brad Pitt would get married, but Hollywood's most famous multi-culti family finally got the wedding it deserved last year, in Chateaux Miraval, France. Her outfit? Versace, with a train doodled on by her 6 kids. Well at least they're not drawing on the walls.

6. Leighton Meester

A match made in teen-drama heaven, the Gossip Girl star said "I Do" to The OC cutie Adam Brody last year in a wedding so private, the pictures of her dress haven't surfaced yet. We're betting it's nothing like this frothy Monique Lhuillier from the show.

7. Regine Velasquez

Four words: red, ruffled Monique Lhuillier. (In interviews she kept saying she was of age and wasn't really as pure as a white dress would connote.) Husband Ogie Alcasid had been estranged from beauty queen ex wife Michelle Van Eimeren, so we can see why they kept their nuptials on the down low. That color, though.

8. Judy Ann Santos

The couple got hitched in Batangas in an intimate ceremony, where guests left their cameras and phones behind out of respect for their privacy. (This was pre-Instagram.) We did find this photo that partially shows her Paul Cabral wedding gown. Principal sponsor Suzi Entrata remarked that Juday looked like a fairy.
