We’ve been itching to hear the wedding bells ever since JC Intal’s romantic proposal to Bianca Gonzalez at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport. But eight months after the celebrity couple headlined the news and the internet went abuzz over their love story, these two love birds have finally tied the knot! One week ahead of their announced wedding date, JC and Bianca have said their “I dos” in front of their closest friends and family members. And while the newly-weds are feeling over the moon right now, here we are still swooning over each pretty little detail from their beach wedding. From the DIY invites down to the bridal bouquet, read on and find out what made us fall in love as the bride and the groom got hitched.
#1: Beach, please!
JC and Bianca could not have picked a better location for their wedding. Surrounded by clear blue skies and crystal clear water, the couple welcomed their first big day as husband and wife in a private ceremony that was held at Lagen Island Resort in El Nido, Palawan. What could be more romantic than having to say your vows in paradise, right?
#2: Quirky Invites
The couple wanted an intimate celebration and has invited only 50 of their closest friends and family members, but they went the extra mile to make sure every detail is as special as it can be. Apart from the personalized wedding invitations, the guests were also sent a “morning paper” containing fun facts about the bride and the groom.
#3: The Wedding Setup
As if the beautiful island itself isn’t enough, this beach wedding was made even more like paradise with the help of their florist and event stylist Robert Blancaflor. A sweet yet elegant wedding reception by the beach, complete with DIY kits for giveaways, awaited the love birds and their invited guests.
#4: The Wedding Entourage
Every wedding needs something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue. And as for the latter, it’s obviously their wedding entourage which also included celebrity couple Doug and Cheska Kramer. Styled by top celebrity stylist and our very own Preview girl Liz Uy, the groomsmen looked dapper in their suits and even the bridesmaids didn’t disappoint in their draped gowns made by fashion designer Celline Bautista.
#5: A Road To Happily Ever After
Here comes the bride all dressed in white, and she walked down an enchanting aisle on her way to happily ever after. As Bianca approached her groom, she was greeted with the fresh scent of amaryllis, salix and orchids, plus a teary-eyed husband-to-be. Did you know that this bride also had her own surprise waiting for JC? Before he walked down the aisle, the carpet was laid out revealing photos of the couple's journey to their big day. How touching, right? No wonder he started crying upon seeing her bride.
#6: The Happy Couple
Every little detail of this dream wedding had been impeccably taken care of, but the real stars of this intimate gathering were the bride and the groom who were both styled by Liz, as well. Bianca looked like a glowing bride in her Rosa Clara embellished gown and even JC looked every inch as dashing in his Barong Tagalog. But their best accessories? Those big happy smiles, obviously.
Congratulations, JC and Bianca!
