Part of going on vacay are the memories you're able to capture, or in this Instagram-obsessed society, the OOTDs you collect. Last April we had the chance to fly to K-drama capital, Seoul, with Jess Wilson to shoot Louis Vuitton's 2018 Womens Pre-Fall Collection, and drove off to different hotspots around the metropolis to scout for new OOTD locations.

Aside from a few touristy gems we just couldn't skip out on, we've gathered a few new destinations for snapping that 'gram. Read on!

Four Seasons Hotel

Not located in the hotel exactly, but the courtyard right beside it. It's perfect because it has a small garden to pose in...

And a dramatic glass building if you want your shots to be a little more cinematic.

Tip: This is a quiet spot with not much foot traffic, so don't expect to be photoshopping any extra limbs out of your pictures. Take your time and get that content!

Sounds Hannam

A soon-to-open space that houses residential buildings, offices, and an array of shops, the sleek architecture of this place is the perfect backdrop for your outfit pictures.

Since it's a relatively new place, you won't have to wrestle with the crowds for a decent picture. But our top pick for an OOTD would be the wooden staircases in the main building. Trust us, it's impossible to get a bad picture here.

National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art

If you don't want to scour multiple floors for the exhibition that matches your outfit perfectly (admit it, art does make a great OOTD backdrop), then this museum's neutral exteriors are for you.

There are textures abound in this area. Just outside of the museum there are stone walls to add grit to your streetstyle shots.

This place is especially good for detail shots, as the almost colorless space serves as a good backdrop for highlighting certain pieces.

Bukchon Hanok Village

Probably the most touristy spot on our list, this quaint little village has had its fair share of exposure on Instagram. You can owe it all to its tiny streets lined with traditional Korean houses.

There are a lot of photogenic details found in the village, like interesting doorways and brick and stone walls. All you have to do is get creative to nail that shot!

Tip: There are a lot of interesting corners to shoot in. If you find yourself lost in a throng of tourists, just keep walking and you'll get to a spot of your own.

Address: located between Gyeongbok Palace, Changdeok Palace and Jongmyo Royal Shrine. South Korea, Seoul, Jongno-gu, Gye-dong.

Insa Art Space

A small art gallery in the middle of Seoul, this government-established space was made to support artists undergoing financial difficulties. It's a small three-storey building that houses exhibitions that make the most interesting backdrops if you get creative.

The sage-painted walls give off an eerie feeling coupled with the flourescent lighting. The space is divided into smaller rooms with open sections that are perfect for playing around with perspective.

But our favorite part about the building would be it's topmost floor. The gallery's office is located here. Because it's at the top, the roof is made out of glass and let's in an ample amount of natural light. Plus, instead of the usual glass doors, it makes use of mirrored doors, perfect if you want to show off the front and back of your outfit.
