30 Days, 30 Ways: Lucille Dizon The jewelry designer picks 30 pieces of accessories to style throughout the month of August.

This August, we're turning the spotlight on Preview's Best Dressed alumna, Lucille Dizon, someone whose style always, always stands out. Working for her husband's family business—the Jul B. Dizon Jewellery—as a jewelry designer for 11 years now has honed Lucille's creativity, one that extends to the way she pieces her outfits together. "I like thinking out of the box with my clothes. I'm always after the cut, texture, and detail of the clothing," she shares.

While she feels lucky to be in a workplace where she can freely express an extension of herself through jewelry, her passion for fashion began as a child, playing dress-up with her mother's clothes and shoes, accessories, and makeup, too. "Fashion is art to me; the coming together of fabrics, texture, thought, design, and color to create beauty," Lucille adds.

Lucille takes up the Style Bible challenge by picking 30 pieces of accessories from her huge collection and styling each throughout the whole month of August.

Top from Mango; Neoprene skirt by Roland Alzate; Shoes from Zara; Tambourine necklace from Jul B. Dizon Jewellery

What I did:

Client meeting then dinner date with the hubby

Styling tip:

Wearing a statement necklace is an easy, high impact jewellery worth investing for. It's a simple styling tool. I chose to wear just a simple stud with it since I want the necklace to stand out more plus it's close to the neck. Adding a gold bangle or a pair of dangling earrings will make the whole look excessively gaudy. Sometimes its best to keep it at a minimum.

I wore an art deco design stud earrings and dangled a turquoise drop. I paired it with a dragon jade ring. Matchy-matchy is boring so I decided to mix art deco and an oriental theme. Since I'm wearing long billowy sleeves, I decided to put on a chunky ring as accent.

Today I wore:

Top by Norman Noriega; Skirt from Acne; Bag from Hermes; Shoes from Zara; Accessories from Jul B. Dizon Jewellery

Today I wore:

Top and shorts by Norman Noriega; Shoes from Nicholas Kirkwood x Peter Pilotto; Bag from Celine; Accessories from Jul B. Dizon Jewellery
