3 Non-Traditional Wedding Dresses We Love Get some ideas here!

Remember when Carrie and Big wanted to have a small intimate wedding at the city hall? Things took a sour turn when she shook the devil’s hand in the form of a Vivienne Westwood cupcake dress.

As much as they try not to turn into complete bridezillas, a girl can’t help it when it comes to planning the biggest day in her life. I mean, you only marry once (not unless you’re planning on pulling a Liz Taylor.) However, there are those brides who seem to be on a permanent chill pill as they embody ease and elegance come their wedding day. Here we give you three real life cool brides whose non-trad dresses knock out those ridiculous cathedral trains.

Dani Canlas-Torres

Her hairstylist Jay Wee called her the “unconventional bride breaking stereotypes.” Forgoing the cupcake that most brides ask from their designers, she chose to wear a low-backed sheath by Martin Bautista (the neckline was inspired by that of a camisole, her favorite kind of top). She also kept her hair and makeup low key: winged eye and ombre red lips (by Omar Ermita) and a sleek mid-parted looped low pony held in place by a ribbon.

Bea Sambalido-Puno

Bea would probably be the last person you’d think of when asked to name a bridezilla. She and hubby Ryan got married at Central Park, where she wore a white cropped jumpsuit in lieu of the traditional dress. Think of it as the 2015 version of Bianca Jagger’s wedding suit. Love!

Rumples Estacio-Miranda

Lace and a sweeping train are the usual wedding gown suspects. So how do you take cliché details and make them cool? Call on Vania Romoff to work her magic. For Rumples, she created a cropped lace short-sleeved top that went over a full gown with a split front that revealed a mermaid silhouette underneath. Changing her look for the reception was probably faster than her walk down the aisle.
