The Preview Ball is back! And this year, as we ushered in a new era of fashion and art, it was only right to have the most fitting dress code: We asked our guests to come dressed as the art! As expected, celebs, influencers, and industry creatives did not disappoint, arriving in the most arfully thought-out 'fits. Some of them took it to the next level and even donned their artistic expression through their beauty looks.
Check out some of our fave "art" looks from the evening below:
1. Mimiyuuuh

Mimiyuuuh showed up and set the bar high with her avant-garde outfit. She soaked up the spotlight with her lace up bling crop top. The skin-baring look called for an edgy updo, which she teamed with a voluminous slit skirt worn with tulle underneath.
2. Sassa Gurl

Sassa knows how to deliver a high-impact look. She showed up perfectly on-theme with a floral print frock, which features pointed sleeves. If the fabric looks familiar, that's because she literally drew inspiration from the sleeping blankets almost all our grandmothers and their mothers had at home. LOL! Her tresses, tied in a high ponytail, perfectly framed her iridescent makeup look.
3. Alodia Gosengfiao

As expected from a top cosplayer, Alodia stayed true to her high-octane glam approach, opting for a bedazzled sheer dress that flaunted her sensational figure. Her golden headpiece and nail art definitely nailed the fantasy theme she was going for, too!
4. Vice Ganda

Count on Vice to always make an entrance! She came dressed to the nines in a floor-length black column dress with a beaded corset top, which was adorned with a white structured ribbon detailing as the focal statement of her look.
5. Jessica Yang

Feathers are all the rage now, and model Jessica Yang's fabulous look at the ball was a great take on the trend. She paired her festive statement top with a sheer skirt and a striking headpiece, effectively reminding us of ethereal godesses often portrayed in classic paintings.
6. Hannah Arnold

Speaking of goddesses, beauty queen Hannah Arnold also wore an eye-catching head piece that had everyone in the room stop and stare. What's more, her golden yellow gown, designed by Manny Halasan, was hand-painted with additional gold flakes for that extra sparkle.
7. Jake Galvez

Jake Galvez, who did Belle Mariano's beauty looks in our September 2022 cover, used his superb makeup skills to create one of the evenings most "art" looks. He did brushstrokes of pink and blue streaming from his face all the way to his chest and across his glittery pink suit. He describes himself as a “[literal] walking art,” and we totally agree!
8. Niana Guerrero

The world is no stranger to Niana's exceptional dancing skills that resonate with her personal style. With the help of her stylist, Ica Villanueva, the talented 16-year-old rocked the pink carpet with a blinged out long-sleeved top underneath an oversized bomber jacket, paired with a beanie, a black denim skirt, and a pair of knee-high boots. Hip-hop is an art, after all!
9. Gideon Hermosa

Trust in Gideon to always go extra! The events stylist extraordinaire drew inspo from the Renaissance art and opted for a coat that featured an actual painting. Genius.
10. Rhian Ramos

We are absolutely in love with Rhian Ramos’ unconventional corset dress from Rafa. The actress revealed that she was going for “classic and simple, but not too simple,” and we think she nailed the assignment! A statement-making LBD? We're sold.
