Kim Chiu considers her multi-million peso home in Quezon City her biggest investment, and if it were solely up to her, she’d paint it pink from floor to ceiling. Undoubtedly her favorite color, Kim originally dreamt of the sweetest house on earth but her eldest sister, Lakambini, talked her out of it—thank God!
Gotta give it to her fighting powers though, because that didn't stop her from having as many pink rooms as possible. See her pretty in pink spaces below.
1. The first floor of her bi-level bedroom
Pink rug, check! Pink couch with pink pillows, check! Pink study under the stairs, check!
2. The second floor of her bedroom
Her pink headboard, the bed and the beddings were all custom-made to fit the irregular shape of the room.
Kim's feng shui consultant, Joy Lim, suggested adding those painted peonies to help her find true love. FYI, that large stuffed bear is from Xian Lim, while the two smaller ones on the bed are from Gerald Anderson.
3. Her walk-in closet
Kim had the entire third floor of her house converted into a walk-in closet and storage area. (See her filled-to-the-brim shoe and bag closet in Yes! Magazine)
4. Her bathroom
Aside from having the essentials like a shower, toilet, and dresser, Kim's baby pink bathroom is equipped with a bathtub and sauna. She says the first thing she looks for when she's at hotels is the bathtub, so it was also natural for her to want one for her home.
5. Second-floor living room
The Jigsaw puzzle ottomans are from local furniture store, Eclectic Living.
The opposite of the earth-toned first-floor living room, this pink space is where Kim entertains her friends. It's complete with a home theatre system, an XBox 360, and a Filmographia media player.
6. Her home salon
It was Kris Aquino who gave Kim the idea of installing a private salon in her home.
Of course, Kim initially wanted the entire room pink, but her interior designer, Janet Torio, suggested to add black.
Yup, a (chinita) princess definitely lives here.
