Tip: Try the vintage wash with a classic wash
With all the denim washes available, you'll go berserk trying to find a match (unless they're sold together). Why worry about that when the great thing about denim is that it looks good with anything?Add character to the casual ensemble with another closet staple, stripes, and the cracked leather version of the well-loved Stan Smiths.
Denim jacket with patches, P2995, Zara; Mid wash 70s button A-line denim skirt, River Island; Large polka cap from Stampd at highsnobiety.
Tip: Use your jacket as a top
It’s actually perfect for that humid rainy day we all hate. It’s not freezing so there’s no need to layer, yet you still need something thick enough that won’t soak with just a drizzle. A jean jacket (opt for patched ones or stitch patches yourself!) paired with a skirt plus a snapback for extra protection should get the job done.
