It feels just like yesterday when Marian Rivera announced her pregnancy, but in reality, she and husband Dingdong Dantes already recently celebrated their daughter Zia Dantes' fifth birthday. Yup, we couldn't believe it either! What we didn't find hard to believe, though, is the way the celebrity couple pulled off throwing the most adorable birthday party for their unica hija. 1. The Cocomelon theme
Zia's family went all out with the party decor! The space had Cocomelon-inspired elements everywhere, from life-size standees to wall stickers inspired by the children's show. Just to make things more colorful, they propped it against a rainbow backdrop and matched it with equally colorful balloons. We're obsessed with the huge letter blocks that spell out Zia's name, too!
2. The birthday cake
Decor aside, it was definitely Zia's birthday cake that took the entire Cocomelon theme home. Sweet Creations By Mums made the celebrant a colorful two-tiered cake with all her favorite characters from the show, and it looked almost too pretty to eat! And from how widely Zia was smiling in the photos, we can tell she was just as in love with it. We wouldn't mind having some of the animal-themed cupcakes at the bottom, though!
3. Zia's birthday dress
Zia was a literal ray of sunshine in her lemon-colored tulle birthday dress from Vida. The ruffled collar and sleeves are so cute, and we love how she matched it with a yellow bow on her hair! And as if that wasn't adorable enough, she wore it with jelly sandals too!
4. Zia's heartwarming birthday wish
As much as we love an IG-worthy party, nothing beats the precious family moments that happen behind the scenes. On Instagram, Marian shared her daughter's birthday wish, and needless to say, it instantly made our hearts melt.
The celebrity mom wrote, "I was so touched when [Zia] told me this morning that her wish is to keep her family, friends and everyone she knows safe and for the World to be healed." She also had a sweet message for her five-year-old: "Thank you for being such a thoughtful daughter, mama is always here to protect and support you all the way... Happy Birthday Anak! Mahal na mahal ka namin."
