While there's no question that the red carpet of the recently concluded 9th Star Magic Ball was sartorially fulfilling, this was only the opening act before the main event. As soon as the stars got settled in the Rizal ballroom of the Makati Shangri-la, the real party started. Outfit changes were made for the cotillion a la Gossip Girl and a few standouts were recognized for outshining every other star in the studded room. While Daniel Padilla serenaded the crowd with his rendition of 'The Way You Look Tonight' with the ABS-CBN Philharmonic Orchestra, seven of the station's hottest love teams began the cotillion.

Denise Laurel was Burts Bee's Charmer of the Night.
Kim Chiu and Xian Lim received the Couple of the Night award.
Julia Montes was Female Star of the Night, while Sam Milby was the Male Star of the Night.
Kim Jones and Jericho Rosales clearly deserved the Moet and Chandon Fabulous Pair of the Night award.
Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla sealed their position as King and Queen after bagging the Best Dressed Couple of the night award.
