"Women’s rights are human rights, regardless of a woman’s race, ethnicity, religion, immigration status, sexual identity, gender expression, economic status, age or disability," the official mission statement on the website of Women's March reads. The words have never rung truer: on January 21, roughly half a million people rallied to defend bravely for the most marginalized in society.
There's no sound more beautiful and empowering than voices lifted in unison, championing women by the hundreds of thousands. Even celebrities flooded into Washington (and other cities worldwide!) to make their stand at the Women's March last Saturday. Let their unabashed activism inspire you to do the same. Fight for your rights, ladies!
