An action K-drama is never complete without the devilish antagonist. More often than not, they add so much excitement to a show that eventually us viewers grow to appreciate them just as much as we do the leads. We mean, would All of Us Are Dead become the nail-biting thriller it was if not for Yoon Gwi-nam bringing even more trouble to the students' already doomed situation?
Breathing life into this worthy adversary is Yoo In Soo. Even before appearing in the zombie web series, he's been making a name for himself as the resident teenage bad boy in K-dramas. Fans can catch him work his snarky charm in the fantasy-romance series Alchemy of Souls, the latest project of his to drop on Netflix. Before clicking play on it though, it's worth picking up some facts about the rookie actor.

1. He's an Aries
In Soo was born on March 25, 1998 in South Korea.
2. He made his acting debut in 2017
In Soo's onscreen debut occured only five years ago when he portrayed schoolyard bully Kang-goo in Strong Girl Bong-soon. After appearing in the Park Bo Young and Park Hyung Sik-led drama, he went on to play more bit roles in School 2017, While You Were Sleeping, and Avengers Social Club.
3. He's handled by Management Koo
Presently, In Soo is signed under Management Koo, which also handles other personalities such as My ID is Gangnam Beauty's Min Do Hee and K-pop idol-turned-actress Eunjung. The talent agency has a YouTube channel and Instagram account where you can get even more In Soo content!
4. He's worked with Park Solomon and Cho Yi Hyun twice
Prior to All of Us Are Dead, In Soo already became fictional classmates with co-stars Park Solomon and Cho Yi Hyun. The trio appeared in the 2017 web series Sweet Revenge, where they went through the drama of high school, minus the imminent threat of the undead.
5. He didn't expect to get the role of Gwi-nam in All of Us Are Dead
One could say that playing the villainous Yoon Gwi-nam is In Soo's biggest break thus far. Though, the actor has admitted that he wasn't confident he would land the role after his audition. "After meeting the director, I got a casting call. I thought [Gwi-nam will] be played by someone more experienced and better than I am," he shared in an interview. Good thing he was eventually proven wrong and went on to portray the character perfectly.
6. He's a Baeksang Arts Award-nominated actor
Even if he initially didn't think he deserved the role, it's pretty evident that he was made for it. Perhaps the biggest indicator of that was when he got recognized by the prestigious Baeksang Arts Awards! Just this year, he was nominated for the Best New Actor for Television award for his portrayal of Gwi-nam. A well-deserved distinction, no doubt!
7. He's colored his hair more than once
Not one to shy away from experimenting with new looks, In Soo's tresses have been through quite the journey with him. For past magazine editorials, his hair has been tinted pink, copper, and even an electrifying shade of purple.
8. He's vacationed in the Philippines before
Back in his debut year, In Soo flew to Cebu for a sun-kissed getaway. Accompanied by a handful of his friends, the actor was spotted catching a wave at the pristine beaches of the Queen City of the South. Looks like someone had a blast!
9. He's a fan of 2AM
K-pop group 2AM is a mainstay in In Soo's playlists. He recently went to one of their reunion concerts and was undeniably the most adorable fanboy.
