Tagaytay City in Cavite is nestled in a ridge that stretches for about 32 kilometers from the mountains of Batangas to the rugged slopes of Silang. This location gives it astounding views of surrounding verdant terrain, Taal Lake, and the famous Taal Volcano. Chill Chill House, a new Airbnb that opened in September, offers this view to weekend travelers. Plus, they have an Instagram-worthy "stairway to heaven" on their rooftop.

Chill Chill House is hosted by Japanese students who have been in the Philippines since 2014 to study English. Since they stay in one of the rooms, guests who book in the four other rooms get a Japanese breakfast along with their overnight stay. Each room has one queen-sized bed, but a mattress can be added to accommodate at least one more person.
Bathrooms are private, but the living area, kitchen, and balcony are shared by all guests. There are a lot of board games you can play with fellow travelers, like Jenga, Uno cards, table football, and more. You can also ask to have a nice dinner set up in the balcony for special anniversaries or even a proposal. Pets are allowed.

Their claim-to-fame is a small staircase on the rooftop, which gives an illusion of climbing a "stairway to heaven" when a photo is shot at the right angle. Called The Project Upstairs, it is by Tricia Ferreras and has quickly become a favorite spot for profile photos.
Chill Chill House is at 155 Tagaytay-Talisay Road, Tagaytay City, Cavite. It is near McDonald's NXTGEN. Rates start at P1,947. For more information, follow them on Facebook and Instagram.
