Congratulations are in order for Dua Lipa and Callum Turner! The celebrity couple tied the knot on May 31 at the Old Marylebone Town Hall in London. The intimate ceremony was graced by their dearest friends and family, who witnessed them sign the legal papers and officially become husband and wife.
Apart from being a global pop singer, podcast host, and certified jetsetter, Dua has also established her position as a fashionable star—and her civil wedding attire is proof enough.
Dua Lipa Stuns in a Wedding Suit by Schiaparelli
For the special occasion, Dua enlisted the vision of Daniel Roseberry. The custom Schiaparelli number consisted of a tailored ivory cady blazer, where softness and structure met in equilibrium. The piece was finished with varying gold buttons, adding that classic Schiaparelli touch.
Also tailored to perfection was her asymmetrical skirt, with the front ending just below the knees and the back flowing gracefully into a maxi length. Dua paired the flattering two-piece with a pair of gloves against her bouquet of daffodils, while her bridal shoes of choice were pointed toe pumps by Christian Louboutin.
Stephen Jones, who has known Callum “since he was a baby,” was the visionary responsible for the bride’s silk hat that sat atop her long, loose waves. Beyond its sophisticated wide brim, it was also characterized by a gold leaf underbrim. Dua further accessorized with no less than the Serpenti High Jewelry necklace and diamond stud earrings from Bvlgari. The groom was also nothing short of dapper in a navy double-breasted suit by Ferragamo.
Dua’s look for their civil ceremony calls to mind Bianca Jagger’s look for her nuptial with Mick Jagger back in 1971. There, the socialite swapped the traditional wedding gown for a jacket and a skirt, also paired with a wide-brimmed hat, serving as the blueprint for every “cool bride.”
