1. Cosmic Wonder

When your love’s as vast and bright as the universe, it deserves nothing less than a celebration of cosmic proportions, much like this wedding below. Pegged by a theme that mimics the Aurora Borealis, we love how Teddy decked this venue’s ceiling in crystal chandeliers rendered with wave details to imitate the Northern Lights, with the motif spilling over onto the clear crystal-like chairs and centerpiece standees. Along with this are light installations for a burst of stars overhead. Meanwhile, he also flanked the place’s entryway with a treatment of perforated lanterns seemingly floating like stardust by the doorway, as if inviting guests into the celestial atmosphere.

2. Classic White

If you’re one for a clean and crisp aesthetic for your special day, consider going for a classic white theme. To add a special delicate touch to this all-white reception, Teddy decorated the Shangri-La Fort ballroom in a burst of flora from the towering centerpieces, to the table accents, to the sea of cut-out décor overhead working to cover the ceiling in a canopy of snowy blooms. Meanwhile, aside from the elegant waterfall chandeliers, we also like how the customized gold gazebos encircling the guests' tables add a refined quality to the rest of this pristine set-up.

3. Indoor Garden

The perks of an indoor garden theme? You’ll get the verdant wedding reception of your dreams without running the risk of having to overhaul everything just in case the weather turns sour. Plus, you and your guests can actually rock killer stilettos, sans the constant worry of a muddy, sunken heel. As for how to decorate your venue without looking like a wild jungle? Take your cue from Teddy and strategically place your greenery to act as accents to the rest of the room (i.e. as centerpieces, around the main stage) while leaving the real party of foliage to run crazy atop the ceiling like vines. A good tip is to also go for dark and moody hues as your main color scheme to foreground the greens in order to elicit a dramatic and elegant ambiance.

4. In Full Bloom

For friends of flowers and all things bloom, swathe your reception area in an exposive lush of your favorite flora, much like Teddy's pink-hued bursts of floral set-up below. That said, nothing’s ever too much for your big day so if you want to grow an inverted peony garden on your ceiling to fall over you like a cloud of cotton candy, we say just go for it!

5. Crazy Rich Asians

After the iconic bridal walk and subsequent unapologetic show of opulence in Crazy Rich Asians, it’s no wonder more and more couples in search of a grandiose theme are taking the show as inspiration for their own nuptials. Teddy captured the award-winning film’s aesthetic by decking the venue in its official poster’s colors of green and gold. As for mimicking the flooded aisle moment without soaking his client's expensive wedding dress, he instead had a transparent aisle project blue-green lighting to create an aquatic effect beneath the bride’s feet.

6. Autumn Leaves Are Falling

If your wedding’s set for the early -ber months, celebrate your marriage surrounded by the calming breeze and inviting warmth of a romantic autumn (or the feel of it at least). While our country (unfortunately) doesn’t permit for the season, you can always recreate it indoors. Think, a canopy of hanging orange maple leaves, accented by bronze cutlery, and a bouquet of orange, purple, red, and yellow roses, much like Teddy’s approach for this wedding at the Manila Marriot Hotel.

7. Modern Filipiniana

Celebrating you nuptials in true Pinoy fashion? There’s nothing like a modern Filipiniana motif than by having hundreds of fans cover the ceiling in an almost cloud-like manner. We’re also digging the candelabra table decor, and red, orange, and bronze color scheme for a gothic, Spanish-era feel to your reception. This styling might also especially catch the eye of couples into the traditional, olden charm of a rustic, period theme.

8. In the Mood for Love

Film buff’s obsessed with Wong Kar Wai’s classic romantic drama, this theme’s for you. Put your guests in the mood for love and recreate the movie’s soft yet sensual cinematography by swathing your venue in a deep red color from the table cloth, to the curtains, to the velvet chairs, only dimmed through dramatic mood lighting. Don’t forget to add on familiar Chinese elements like a decor of Chinese lattice, red sky lanterns, and China blue porcelain, to capture the full Hong Kong scenery where the original movie was set.

9. Enchanted Forest

Wine and dine your romantic night away in an enchanted forest flanked by crawling leaves overhead, fairy lights hanging above, and 3D-mapped trees. In particular, Teddy mimicked the magic of the woodlands by adorning the tablescape with deep green cloth, silver cutlery, and pristine white candelabra all gorgeously set together like an early Disney fairytale that you might just expect Snow White, her seven dwarves, and a show of talking animals to pop up.
