And, being a predominantly catholic country means finding a church at almost every other corner you can turn to. No need to travel far just to tie the knot. You just need to know where to look and which one fits you best.

1. San Sebastian Parish Church 

For a simple and traditional church wedding, you have the San Sebastian Parish in M.H. del Pilar, Pasig. Interior-wise, its polished wooden architecture along with its golden decorated altar gives off a vintage yet clean and regal feel to your nuptials. You might also find its expansive and spacious brown marble altar to be the idyllic grand wedding stage for your grand day. And, in addition to this, the church’s overall size is ideal for a bigger set of guests. No need to trim down on your wedding party!

4. Santa Clara de Montefalco Parish

For the grandest wedding in Pasig, look no further than the regal architecture and rich design of the Santa Clara de Montefalco Parish. Established way back in the 19thcentury, the church is an unmovable and firm symbol of strength for the city after having survived years of wars and natural calamities. According to its official website, its patroness Sta. Clara de Montefalco is the patron saint of those with heart ailments; “the chapel therefore is a symbol of passionate love.” With a title like that, where else would you rather marry your better half, right? Despite its age, the parish has clearly been well kept and taken care of, as it was restored into a new and more modern look, boasting of high ceilings and an elegantly painted interior all around. It even has a polished driveway for your bridal car, and tall, imposing heavy doors to achieve your dramatic entrance, further proving that nothing beats the grandeur of this church.

5. Sto. Rosario Church

The Rosario de Pasig Parish is perfect for the sky-blue interior wedding of your dreams. For devout Catholic couples, it might interest you to know that treasured in the church is a rare 19thcentury statue of the Virgin Mary, uniquely special for the moon under its feet. Sto. Rosario has been renovated a number of times since its establishment back in 1995. You’ll love its high-ceilings and stained-glass windows that allow for ample ventilation and natural sunlight to pass through. It has also been modernized design-wise and is now decked in art-deco paintings.

6. Pasig Cathedral

Take your long, deserved walk down the lengthy aisle of Pasig Cathedral, or more popularly known as the Immaculate Conception Cathedral-Parish. It is known as the mother church of the Diocese of Pasig. Founded way back in 1573, the ancient structure is one of the oldest buildings in the city. Its baroque exterior holds a traditional and timeless beauty to it that’s perfect for sentimental couples going for an old, romantic feel. The inside, of course, has been renovated and modernized, set to as simple yet elegant white and gold décor.

7. Sta. Lucia Parish Church

The Sta Lucia Parish is a brick-built edifice perfect for a semi-intimate entourage of guests. The church, located in Amang Rodriguez Avenue, is mostly characterized by its wide aisles and a sky-painted concave ceiling detail atop its altar, for that dreamy and romantic head and heart in the clouds feels while you say your “I dos.”

8. Sta. Rosa de Lima Church

You’ll admire the pyramid-like architecture and contemporary structure of the Sta. Rosa de Lima Parish. This quaint church gives off a light and dainty vibe especially with its adorable pink-walled altar as it embodies its patroness, St. Rose of Lima, who is coincidentally also known as a co-patron saint of the Philippines. Oh, and you can bet the blush pink wall is also perfect for that IG millennial aesthetic.
