Supermodel Kendall Jenner has one of the most distinct but chameleon-like faces in the industry. With her brunette locks, strong brows, and thin red lips, you can easily recognize her face from afar. This is exactly the reason why we needed to double check when we saw a girl with almost the same features as Kendall's walking around the metro! This piqued our curiosity, so we looked her up on Instagram and dropped a message to get to know more about the girl who could pass as Kendall’s twin.
Meet Carmen Salaverri, a Spanish exchange student at the University of Asia and the Pacific (UA&P).

Hey Carmen! Welcome to the Philippines! How long have you been staying here?
"Hello! Thank you so much. Well I arrived two months ago, at the end of July, and will be staying until mid-December. I will most probably come back at some point."
How do you like your new environment so far?
"I am actually really enjoying the Philippines. The people I've met and the places I've visited have made me fall for this country and are making me want to come back very soon."
We’re glad you’re enjoying your stay. Tell us about yourself!
"Well, my life is very ordinary. I’m originally from Madrid, where I grew up and where my parents currently live. Then for college, I moved to Pamplona, a little city in the north of Spain. I started taking Advertising and Public Relations and earned a little diploma in Fashion Communication at the University of Navarre. My university gave me the chance to transfer here for a semester."
What are your plans after college?
"Once I graduate, I aspire to take Fashion Communication at Marangoni University in Milan to take up a three-year program. I know how difficult it is to enter the industry but fashion has been my obsession since I can remember and my goal is to contribute to the evolution and continuous change in this industry."
Your resemblance to Kendall Jenner is so uncanny. Has anyone ever mentioned that to you? How do you feel about it?
"It’s funny how many people have told me that once I arrived in Manila! Back in Spain, the Kardashians are not so well known and no one, except for my sister, had ever told me. I mean, I could say that it’s a compliment, but I really cannot see it."

We heard you booked your first modeling gig with Susto the Label for its upcoming Fall campaign. Can you tell us about that?
"I had never modeled before. One day, a girl from my class came over to me and asked me if I would like to model for her sister’s brand's October campaign. I checked the website and finally agreed. Susto is a very young brand with a lot of potential and Micah, the owner, will for sure get very far."
What's next for you here in the Philippines? How about when you go back to Spain?
"For the time being, I expect to make the best out of my time here. I’m completely open to new experiences. But when I go back to Spain, I’ll be back to my normal life as a student."
