In a saucepan, Gigi heats up olive oil, garlic, and onion and cooks them until they turn soft. She then adds tomato paste until the mixture darkens, and then proceeds to add heavy cream, vodka and red pepper flakes before stirring everything together. She seasons it with salt and pepper and then removes the sauce from the heat. Cook the pasta separately, but save some of the pasta water for later. 3. Snoop Dogg’s Fried Chicken

If you didn’t know, Snoop Dogg actually published his own cookbook called From Crook to Cook. The famous rapper is actually quite the inventive and skilled home cook. His fried chicken recipe includes potato chips!

He fills a large pot with water and lets it boil before adding sugar, bay leaf, red pepper flakes, and an orange peel. He lets everything dissolve and then removes it from the heat. He lets it cool completely before using the liquid as a brine for the chicken and refrigerating it for 10-12 hours. Once that’s done, he removes the chicken from the brine and adds a batter of flour, cornmeal, crushed potato chips, garlic powder, cayenne, baking powder, black pepper and salt. He then fries the chicken until it’s a golden brown color, topping it off with a generous sprinkling of salt.

4. Chrissy Teigen’s Spicy Miso Spaghetti

The internet won’t stop talking about Chrissy Teigen’s famous spicy miso spaghetti recipe. Chrissy herself says the dish is inspired by carbonara, but she goes back to her roots and adds a playful Asian spin to the dish that everyone seems to be loving!

She starts off by taking a large pot of water, salting it and bringing it to a low boil. In a separate pan, she adds some oil before adding in the bacon and cooking it until it’s crispy and the fat has rendered. She puts the bacon aside and then proceeds with her sauce. She whisks together chili garlic sauce, miso, and hot pasta water (from the pot) and mixes them together in a bowl before beating in the eggs. She adds the pasta into the boiling pot and cooks until al dente. Lastly, she throws everything into a skillet–the bacon, the egg mixture, cheese, pepper, and pasta water until she reaches her desired flavor and consistency.

Here’s where she adds her personal twist: She opens up up a chai packet and adds in empty crushed tea leaves into the batter. She stirs in the flour, baking soda, and salt, and refrigerates the dough for an hour and 15 minutes. Once that’s done, she bakes the cookies like normal for 8-10 minutes and then adds in her eggnog icing.
