Vietnamese heiress Nga Nguyen tested positive for COVID-19 (coronavirus) after flying across Europe to watch this season’s fashion week shows.

The 27-year-old had attended both the Spring/Summer Saint Laurent catwalk in Paris, and Gucci in Milan, where guests are usually made to sit closely beside each other. In a report by the South China Morning Post, they noted that Nguyen even posted about her trip on her Instagram account, which has since been deactivated.

Subsequently, her sister, Nguyen Hong Nhung was also with her in Europe before the two returned to Vietnam. The 26-year-old had also been found positive with the disease.

A known jet-setter, Nguyen is reportedly the daughter of a steel magnate, and she frequently attends international fashion shows including the Met Gala in New York back in 2018.

A self-quarantine directive has been given out by the companies of top fashion editors and guests who attended either of the events in Milan and Paris.
