Glamping–a.k.a. glamorous camping–has long filled our timelines and Airbnb wishlists. While most of these spots have visitors traveling out of the city’s edges, some gems are backdropped by the hustle and bustle of the metropolitan. Urban glamping exists–just take a look at Maria’s Deck, a rooftop tenting experience located in busy Makati.
What to Expect at Maria’s Deck Rooftop Airbnb in Makati
With the aura and atmosphere of K-drama rooftop scenes (think Itaewon Class!), Maria’s Deck lets visitors bask in the city’s busy lights while enjoying the perks of glamping. Located in a residential area in Makati, the rooftop Airbnb houses a five-meter bell tent that can fit five single beds, with extra sleeping beds available upon request.
The tent’s backyard adds a cozy element to the glamping experience, complete with an eight-seater outdoor dining set, cushions, a white screen with projector, Netflix-ready entertainment, and string lights for its romantic atmosphere, all with the view of the Makati skyline.
Guests have access to the shared space of the halls, which includes a community lounge, kitchen, and bathroom.
Big groups can also stay in the Airbnb’s provided private rooms. Fair warning: The residential building has no elevator, so guests will have to climb the stairs!
This cozy tent Airbnb is priced at P6,000 for five guests. Non-overnight visitors, however, can stay for a fee of P200 per head. Private rooms, on the other hand, are P2,800 for four guests, with P375 fee per head for extra visitors.
