"Would you like some coffee to go with that crisp polo shirt in your basket?" is a question we never thought we'd ask, but here we are! Uniqlo's Global Flagship store in Glorietta 5 is turning five, and it'll be debuting fun new features—including a cup-of-joe leg dubbed Uniqlo Coffee.
Here's what to know about Uniqlo Coffee in Manila:
Back in 2021, Uniqlo debuted a café-type offshoot at their refurbished global flagship store in Ginza called Uniqlo Coffee, a minimalist nook that served cups of joe at affordable prices. It seems they're now bringing the idea to their Glorietta 5 flagship, but with a distinctly Filipino twist as they'll be using locally sourced coffee beans from Mt. Apo, to "[highlight] the brand’s commitment to being one with the community." Also to be served at the coffee shop are "goods and pastries" with Filipino and Japanese flavors. It's set to open on the flagship outpost's second floor on October 13.
That's far from the only thing to look forward to as the Manila Global Flagship store turns five; drop by and take advantage of their custom printing service, or browse the new lineup of UTme! collaborations with local artists, special displays, and so on. From October 13 to 26, Uniqlo will also be holding exclusive promos and giving away freebies at the said branch. Mark your calendars—and maybe get your thirst for caffeine ready!
Uniqlo's Global Flagship store is at Glorietta 5, Ayala Center, Makati City. For more information, check out Uniqlo Philippines' Facebook page.
