Luxurious weddings with jaw-dropping setups are slowly making a comeback, and there’s no better proof of this than Edmarc de Luna and Jean Bituin’s stunning nuptials in Balesin.
The ceremony was erected on a pool in one of the island's private villas. For a one-of-a-kind and memorable wedding march, the bride sauntered down a mirrored aisle that spans 150 feet, as executed by Randy Lazaro.

After tying the knot, the couple took their celebration down under with a reception venue that’s reminiscent of an underwater wonderland. Event stylist Dave Sandoval in coordination with La Belle Fete pulled together the majestic feat from scratch by dressing up a completely bare function hall in the island resort.

The idea for this deep sea escape was inspired by Edmarc and Jean’s celestial-themed surnames. In a post by La Belle Fete, they further explained that they wanted to bring the ocean indoors as they envisioned its waters—expertly recreated by Dave with LED flooring— to “reflect the ethereal night skies.”

Other design points that made the couple’s day even more magical were the cloud of gypsophilas and crystal birds overhead that completed the underwater illusion. To make this spectacle even more believable, the venue’s arched entryways were fashioned into mermaid fins and the chandeliers into jellyfish.

Congratulations, to the newlyweds!
