Many parts of Visayas and Mindanao are still recovering from the onslaught of Typhoon Odette. Not exempted from the calamity's havoc were various destinations around the island of Siargao, where several tourist spots were left in unrecognizable states.

Miss Universe Philippines 2017 Rachel Peters took to Instagram to share the devastating damage done to surfing hub Cloud 9, which was in shambles after the storm. "The situation is not looking good and and my heart bleeds thinking of everyone who lost their homes just days before Christmas," she writes.

Aside from Cloud 9, the once picturesque Coconut Road was also defaced by Odette. Photographer Pepe Diokno was in Barangay Burgos when the storm took its course, and was able to take shots of the road whose coconut trees are now bald and have fallen to the ground.

Even Andi Eigenmann and Philmar Alipayo's residence was left in ruins by Odette. Andi and her family were safely in Manila when the typhoon occurred, but her husband has since flown back to Siargao to help out in relief operations. The two pledged to donate the earnings from one of their vlogs to help out their calamity-stricken hometown.
