And tucked within Ili Sur, a quiet pocket of San Juan, stands The Lewis House—its mid-century charm making it a destination in itself.
Approved by celebrities like Janine Gutierrez and Jericho Rosales for a “recovery weekend,” the hotel is a space of calm and comfort that readily welcomes anyone who longs for slow days.
What Is The Lewis House?
The Lewis House was initially built in the 1960s to serve as the home of San Juan’s then-mayor. The place spent the recent years practically empty, before surfer-architect spouses Buji Libarnes and Nikki Dela Paz-Libarnes restored it and provided it a second life. With this, the resort opened to the public early this year. Situated in a quaint locality and designed to let the light in, it’s a restful place of peace and calm.

Standard Room - P5000 per night
Maximum occupancy: 2 adults, 1 child aged 5 years old and below
15 square meters featuring a queen-sized bed
Deluxe Room - P6000 per night
Maximum occupancy: 2 adults, 1 child aged 5 years old and below
17 square meters featuring a queen-sized bed
Superior Room - P8000 per night
Maximum occupancy: 3 adults, 1 child aged 5 years old and below
25 square meters featuring a queen-sized bed
Family Suite - P10,000 per night
Maximum occupancy: 4 adults, 1 child aged 5 years old and below
42 square meters featuring a king-sized bed, a single bed, and a sofa
All rooms come with complimentary breakfast per registered guest, a private toilet and bath with amenities, keycards for the main door and the respective booked room, air-conditioning units, in-room safes, internet, and access to the swimming pool. Additional guests for adults or children that are seven years old and above can be accommodated for the Superior Room and the Family Suite for a fee of P2,000 a night.
