1. Bali, Indonesia
Lush landscapes and pristine beaches seemed to have tourists clamoring for a flight to Bali this 2018. The island also served as an especially popular venue for celebrity weddings, proposals, and even bachelorette parties. While its sun kissed sands and sweltering waters permitted the ideal ambience for leisure, relaxation, and the occasional ‘I dos’, those in for a more spiritual journey the Eat, Pray, Love way, had Bali’s majestic temples to marvel and meditate at as well

2. Tokyo, Japan
A quick scan of almost every celeb’s IG feed would show you proof of a trip to Japan at one point or another this year. Who could blame them? With the country’s ephemeral cherry blossoms, a weather perfect for just the right amount of layers, sushi and ramen at every corner, and a world famous crossing some of us are guilty of losing hours at just to capture that one photo that makes it to our Instagram, Japan’s got everything you need for an ideal getaway.

3. Paris, France
The home to Paris Fashion Week, the city of love is every fashion girl’s dream destination. Plus, seeing the locals casually dressed to impress on a daily basis is always a sight to aspire for. Aside from its sartorial roots, Paris’ romance also lies in its range of elegant sites from the grandiose Eiffel Tower, to the fine marvel that is the Louvre Museum, or the haunting Notre Dame Cathedral. No doubt, every twist and cobblestone turn will leave you with a great desire to fall in love.

4. Dubai, United Arab Emirates
The modern city of Dubai is famous for its monumental high-rises and extravagant shopping malls (housing the second largest mall in the world.) A few sites to see include the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world, the Jumeirah beach, and the Mall of Emirates, after you’ve explored the grandeur of The Dubai Mall, of course. 5. California, USA
With the Hollywood dream in its name and the sweltering surfing scene in tow, it’s no wonder people flock to the state like clockwork each year, and this one is no different. 6. London, England
Every site to see in London screams magnificent to tourists alone, from the Big Ben, to St. Paul’s Cathedral, to the London Eye, there’s no shortage of majestic structures to marvel at. 7. South Korea
