South Korea’s entertainment industry never fails to produce relevant, top-notch shows of any genre. That’s why when they decided to tackle mental health in the form of fantasy drama Tomorrow, we expected nothing more but quality execution, from the storyline up to the production value. Luckily, that's exactly what MBC TV and Netflix delivered.

Based on a webtoon published in 2017, Tomorrow revolves around grim reapers who save people that are considering ending their lives. At the heart of the story is Choi Joon-woong, a young job seeker who gets entangled in the affairs of the afterlife after he witnesses a traumatic incident. As we marvel at the show on Netflix, let’s take the time to meet the death angels that keep Tomorrow’s Soul Management Department running!

1. Kim Hee Sun

Playing both emotional and effortlessly cool characters is a walk in the park for seasoned star Kim Hee Sun. Aside from her tear-jerking performance in Room No. 9 with co-actress Kim Hae Sook, she also pulled off her mysterious persona in the time-travel drama Alice—only proving her knack for diverse role.

In Tomorrow, she plays the pink-haired maven Goo-ryeon, the head grim reaper of Jumadeung’s crisis management team. We don’t know if it’s her character or her girl crush aura, but she totally made us fall in love with only a snap of her finger!
