"Twenty-Five Twenty-One" actor Choi Min Yeong was cast as Kitty Covey's love interest.

We all know that Lara Jean Covey (Lana Condor) and Peter Kavinsky (Noah Centineo) would’ve never happened without god-sent, teen matchmaker Katherine Covey (Anna Cathcart) in the mix.

Katherine, or Kitty as she’s famously known, is definitely wise beyond her years, putting Lara Jean in place in all three films of the original franchise. It’s no wonder why fans loved the dynamic between the two as they were indeed #Sister Goals!

If you’re missing this scene-stealing character, don’t fret! There’s more in store for the sassy Covey sibling! ICYMI, Netflix revealed on October of last year that we’ll be getting Kitty back in her own spin-off series, titled XO, Kitty.

The Plot

During the Coveys' visit to Korea in the third installment of To All the Boys, we already saw snippets of Kitty's budding relationship with a local from the area. Many were ecstatic for the youngest Covey sister, who finally got a taste of romance even though it was only for a few short scenes in the film.

According to Netflix, the 10-episode spin-off series will follow Kitty as she "moves halfway across the world to reunite with her long-distance boyfriend. She'll soon find that relationships are a lot more complicated when it's your own heart on the line."

The Cast

Anna Cathcart will reprise her role as Kitty Song Covey, the feisty and quite devious little sister of Lara Jean. This fan-favorite character is definitely memorable as she sets into motion all of the subsequent events in the original franchise.
