Netflix just partnered up with the Brooklyn Museum for one royal exhibit. Dubbed The Queen and The Crown, the new online installation takes visitors on a virtual tour of the costumes from their recent breakout hit limited series The Queen’s Gambit and the upcoming fourth season of The Crown.

Set up in a 3D-rendered version of the New York museums’s Beaux-Arts Court, the iconic pieces from each show can be viewed through this website. That said, there’s more to just visually perusing the clothes, of course. Fans of both shows can zoom in on the costumes, read up on their history, get a first-look at the original sketches, and even watch clips from the episodes they were worn.
Avid followers of The Crown can expect to see Queen Elizabeth II’s Trooping of the Colour Uniform, and her subdued Braemar Games Suit, among others. There’s also the late Princess Diana’s iconic pink Australia Tour Dress, and her immaculate silk taffeta wedding gown as designed by David and Elizabeth Emanuel. As per info from the exhibit, the now seminal frock took three people a whole four weeks and 600 hours to complete.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the virtual tour installation are Beth Harmon’s timeless ‘60s garb from The Queen’s Gambit. The coming-of-age series follows Anya Taylor-Joy as Beth, a lonely orphan who discovers her prowess for chess and soon smashes the glass ceiling of the game’s male-dominated arena. Included in the exhibit are her red wool crepe Water Dress, her forest green I Feel Good frock during the final tournament in Moscow, as well as the Pride Coat and LBD she wore while signing autographs.

The Queen and The Crown will be up for viewing until December 13, 2020.
