Former casting director Frank Spadafora created a new app that ranks the social media power of models and tells CR Fashion Book that "the three most highly ranked supers on social — Kendall Jenner, Cara Delevigne, and Gigi Hadid,” each earning $125,000 to $300,000 per post. So yes, if you’re one of the 87.9 million combined followers of these long-legged friends, know that with every double tap of your finger, you could be contributing to the growth of their financial portfolio.
But don’t think of their IG as just another income-generating machine. Other posts do go up for free. But what’s interesting to note here is how they earn so much more off a single photo than what they could possibly get for walking a whole season of Fashion Week. Perhaps we really should start calling them “digital influencers.”
