Here's a recap of everything you might've missed.

Each year, the whole University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) community waits in anticipation for the annual Cheerdance Competition (CDC). It's a tourney where the roles get reversed: the crowd cheers for the pep squads. And this year, the competition gets tougher, the stakes higher, and the stunts harder.

Below, we recall the highlights at the recently concluded UAAP CDC leading up to National University’s win. Scroll down and relive the thrill!

1. The show was hosted by S+A analyst Nikko Ramos and TV Patrol host and former UAAP Courtside reporter Gretchen Fullido. Volleyball player Alyssa Valdez was also tapped as the post-performance host.

2. The event was held in Smart Araneta Coliseum where about 18,000 people attended the show (compared to last year’s 25,000 held in SM Mall of Asia Arena).

5. Ateneo de Manila University’s Blue Babble Battalion went back to their roots and executed a routine that highlighted their school symbol, the Blue Eagle.

6. Meanwhile, Far Eastern University’s squad made a production out of their whole routine, dancing and cheering into the tunes of famous Broadway songs.
