If you tuned in on your Instagram feed last weekend, then there’s no way you would’ve missed the news about the much-awaited opening of Sunnies Café a.k.a. the It girls’ new favorite hangout. From the same genius group of creatives who brought us Sunnies Studios, this latest go-to spot at Bonifacio High Street is inspired by each of the directors’ favorite cities, mainly Los Angeles and Palm Springs, but also a bit of Miami, Melbourne, and Tokyo.
"All the directors are very passionate about food and travel," says creative director Martine Cajucom, who also speaks in behalf of her business partners Georgina Wilson-Burnandt, Bea Soriano-Dee, and Eric Dee, Jr.
"The menu is a Frankenstein of our favorite comfort foods that we’ve tried globally, and then we have recreated them and made them our own."
The food couldn’t get any more #foodstagram-worthy! From expertly plated breakfast meals to decadent-looking desserts, Sunnies Café’s promising menu will give even the fussiest foodie bang for their buck.
Oh, and by the way, they’re offering free dessert with any order from July 31 to August 8! Sunnies Funfetti Tres Leches, anyone?
Knowing the It girls, we also weren’t surprised to discover that every nook and cranny is guaranteed to meet our Instagram #feedgoals. Martine shares, "Being IG-worthy is part of Sunnies DNA! We designed every corner to be something visually exciting and photogenic."
They even have the perfect backdrop for your OOTDs!
George calls it the "instahoe wall."
Pretty-in-pastel walls: check! Neon lights: check! Add those to their equally yummy and picture-perfect menu, what more can you ask for, really?
