We can't believe we're saying this, but the end for The King: Eternal Monarch is officially drawing near! The K-drama's production company just confirmed that they've wrapped up filming ALL the episodes—including the finale!
In a report by Soompi, Lee Min Ho and Kim Go Eun have both finished their final shoot just yesterday, May 28. They began filming October last year, which means the entire show was filmed over the course of eight months in total.
Now, if you're looking for hints as to what will happen in the next episodes, unfortunately, they have yet to indulge us with any. However, Hwa & Dam Pictures did tell the media that The King's "unpredictable and endlessly eventful story will continue to unfold in the remaining four episodes." So should we expect the unexpected? Maybe, but we'll just have to wait and see!
Yesterday, SBS announced that premiere of the 13th episode has been moved to Saturday, May 30, instead of its usual Friday release. After which, they'll be returning to the original schedule for the succeeding episodes, including the series finale that is scheduled to air on June 12.
