Be honest: Do you actually keep those paper business cards given to you at networking events? More often than not, these cards get discarded or misplaced just minutes after they've been handed around, and not only does it mean failed connections, it also results in a pile of unnecessary waste. This is an issue the folks at Tap To Connect (TTC) noticed, and was something they were dedicated to resolving.

With that came the birth of their digital business cards. Matt Lovido, co-founder and chief marketing officer of the brand, explains that, "with Tap To Connect, our customers will be just one tap away from future connections or relations." Every piece of information you'll need to present are housed in a nifty little card, and all your potential connections need to do is to tap the card unto their phones. Check out how it works in the TikTok video below:

"Reachability won’t be a problem, because with a tap you will not only access the person’s contact number, but also our newest features like setting an appointment, adding multiple accounts like Facebook & contact details, adding customizable buttons and so much more," Matt tells Preview.

Through NFC, or near-field communication, the cards are able to transmit info into the receiving phones. It also has a scannable QR code, in case one's phone doesn't support NFC. Do take note though that the person's phone must be connected to the internet for the transmission to work, but if they don't have connection at the moment, they can just bookmark the link and access it later on.

You can avail of these cards in sleek shades of white, black or pink for only P1200 each. Though, if you want to take it up a notch, TTC can also customize the cards with the design and other elements you may want to include.

"Minimum order for customized TTC cards are 10 pieces, and we offer different kinds of finishes as well. These are matte, bamboo, carbon, and metal. For other special finishes like for logos and details, we have foil, spot UV, embossed, engraved and debossing," Matt details. Since the cards would need some proofing and revising, you can expect the cards to be in your hands in around 20 to 30 days.

Overall, what TTC aims to offer its patrons is innovation and convenience. "Tap To Connect is not your ordinary business card. Unlike the traditional, just one TTC business card would be enough to last you a lifetime," Matt says, "no more tireless reprinting! With this, everything is digitally installed and your details will be editable anytime, anywhere through taptoconnect.net
