We Know Where You Can Get the Yummiest Tacos for P100 Each

If Monday gives you the blues, then Tuesday pummels us with a good dose of, well, nothing really. Likely because no one really looked back on Tuesday and saw anything worth remembering. That is until Taco Tuesdays came along to satisfy our Mexican food cravings. And there’s no better place to celebrate this weekly event than at Waterside, a restaurant in Solaire that serves Latin-inspired cuisine. Taco Tuesdays at Waterside offers an awesome promo where you can feast on a range of scrumptious tacos at a special price—and with a 50 percent discount on their Mai Tai cocktails! Enjoy these mouthwatering offerings:

Hard Shell Tacos

These are for people who prefer their tacos crisp and crunchy. Waterside excels with hard shell options packed with a variety of ingredients and the most bomb salsa. There’s the Cilantro Lime Beef, which combines tender braised beef with chile con queso, pico de gallo, and lettuce. You can also munch on Baja Fish, which boasts beer-battered fish, red cabbage slaw, corn salsa, and citrus mayo. If you like chicken, try the Chicken Enchilada, made with slow-cooked chicken, spicy enchilada sauce, refried beans, and salsa criolla. Vegans may dig the Cauliflower Al Pastore, stuffed with charred cauliflower and topped with mojo verde and pineapple habanero salsa for a sweet, tangy kick.

Soft Shell Tacos

If you’d rather not have shards of corn tortilla flying around each time you bite into your taco, then opt for one of Waterside’s soft shell tacos. Made with flour tortillas, these tacos don’t break under pressure and are no less delicious.

Pork lovers may like the Cochinita Pibil, which rolls incredibly tender slow-cooked achiote pork, grilled pineapple, and pickled red onions in a warm tortilla blanket.

Other meaty options include the Ancho Chicken tacos, which pairs ancho chili-marinated chicken with chipotle raisin puree, and kimchi slaw.

There’s also Chorizo taco, a classic option stuffed with Mexican chorizo, paprika potatoes, pickled red onions, and roasted salsa verde.

Huevos Rancheros, a vegetarian option, is nothing to scoff at either. It comes with a crispy fried egg, refried beans, avocado, salsa fresca, and pickled cabbage.

Mai Tai Cocktails

Taco Tuesdays at Waterside is not just an excuse to eat an insane amount of amazing tacos, but it’s also an excuse to drink on a weekday without being judged. After all, nothing complements savory tacos like a sweet Mai Tai, the quintessential tiki drink that combines heady rum with tropical flavors. Waterside offers three Mai Tai cocktail options, each at half the price.

At the center of each drink are premium rum and orgeat, an almond-based liqueur or syrup flavored with orange flower water. There’s Trader Vic, made in honor of the supposed creator of the Mai Tai. This option simply mixes rum, orgeat, and orange curaçao. For a bit more tang, try the Carribean Mai Tai, which blends rum, orgeat, habanero lime, and passion fruit syrup. Those with a sweet tooth, meanwhile, will find much to love about Coco Nut, a mix of rum, orgeat, coconut peanut cream, and orange curaçao.

Stop by Waterside on a Tuesday and see what the fuss is all about. Taco Tuesdays are always better when celebrated with a group, so get your friends or co-workers together for a memorable Tuesday night that you can finally brag about.
