From 1999 to 2003, many Filipinos spent their Sunday afternoons tuned into Tabing Ilog, a teleserye chronicling a barkada of teenagers growing up together. The coming-of-age series gained a cult following and was beloved by many adolescents who identified with the struggles, romances, and moments of youth the characters went through. Since then, the cast members have definitely grown up, with many of them becoming powerhouses in today's show biz scene. If you're wondering what the squad is up to today, you came to the right place.
Here's where the cast of Tabing Ilog is today:
1. Kaye Abad
Kaye Abad quite literally grew up on our screens, having gotten her start in numerous teen-oriented shows such as Tabing Ilog. Known as Eds in the series, the actress signed on to the third batch of the Star Magic Circle in 1996. She's since fronted numerous episodes of Maalala Mo Kaya and was the female lead in three seasons of the Precious Hearts Romances series. Presently, she's married to Pinoy Big Brother alum Paul Jake Castillo, with whom she has two kids.

2. John Lloyd Cruz
Linked up with Kaye during those years was certified heartthrob John Lloyd Cruz. The 38-year-old actor starred as Rovic in Tabing Ilog, which was only the first of many leading man roles to come his way. We all know him for his memorable performances in I Love Betty La Fea, One More Chance, It Takes A Man and A Woman, and many more, all of which he's been awarded and celebrated for. John Lloyd is currenly one of the personalities handled by Crown Management, the talent agency of fellow actor Maja Salvador.

3. Desiree del Valle
Fulfilling the role of Corrinne in the gang was Desiree del Valle, who also got her start as a teen actress. You probably recogize her for her role as an uncompromising mother in FlordeLiza, which was also where she met Boom Labrusca, her real-life husband. The two have been married for about four years now, and last October, they welcomed their first child together.

4. Paolo Contis
One of Kaye's batchmates in the 1996 Star Magic Circle was Paolo Contis. Soon after playing Badong, Corinne's love interest in the show, Paolo transferred to GMA and has since become a staple in Kapuso TV shows. Aside from being a cast member on comedy-skit show Bubble Gang, one of the actor's more recent ventures was being one of Heart Evangelista's leading men in I Left My Heart in Sorsogon.

5. Paula Peralejo
Paula Peralejo made her onscreen debut in Star Cinema's Sarah... Ang Munting Prinsesa before joining the Tabing Ilog cast as Anne. The younger sister of actress Rica Peralejo, Paula retreated from the limelight and decided to pursue a degree in philosophy with a minor in tourism at the University of the Philippines. She's currently making use of what she studied, as she's now a general manager at a travel agency.

6. Patrick Garcia
After a little push from his sister, Cheska Kramer, Patrick Garcia dove into the world of acting as a young teen. He was paired with Paula in Tabing Ilog as James. Many Pinoys adore him for his boy-next-door charm and mature acting chops, two things he's exhibited in his performances on Apoy Sa Dagat, Two Wives, and Annaliza.

7. Jodi Sta. Maria
Who doesn't love Jodi Sta. Maria? Before she was Dr. Jill Ilustre in The Broken Marriage Vow, Amor Powers in Pangako Sa'yo, or even Maya dela Rosa in Be Careful With My Heart, the Kapamilya star found her footing as George in Tabing Ilog. It's safe to say that Jodi has had quite the illustrious career, and what's even more admirable is that she achieved it alongside earning a psychology degree just last year!

8. Baron Geisler
Jodi's onscreen partner in Tabing Ilog was Baron Geisler, who portrayed Fonzy. After coming of age as an actor in the early '90s, he went on to play various roles in different networks, and even joined the second season of Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Edition.
