Calling all fans of Stranger Things, you may want to consider traveling to the US soon, particularly in the state of Missouri. Hidden in the basement of a modest home in St. Louis is an Airbnb inspired by the Netflix show.
Maintained by an experienced Airbnb Superhost named Ann and her family, the guest suite is a cozy abode decorated like the Wheeler's basement. Exuding an '80s vibe, it's complete with over 50 classic VHS tapes that you can freely borrow, a pillow fort to hang out in, a TV and VCR, and of course, the iconic alphabet wall lined with christmas lights. Dare we say it's not just a cool homage to Stranger Things, it's also IG-worthy if you want a snug vintage aesthetic for your feed.
Dubbed The Upside Den, owners remind the interested parties that the space is essentially a basement connected to the main house, so you'll have to deal with a bit of noise from upstairs. Plus, they also have a considerably large and intimidating dog to share the backyard with. Don't worry though, because as the owners like to put it, Bentley's "all bark, no bite." A definite plus for dog lovers.
Booking the space costs $37 a night, or approximately P1900, before cleaning, service, and tax fees are added. It can house four guests and currently boasts of an almost perfect five-star rating from 159 reviews.
