The fourth season of Stranger Things is closer than we think, and it looks like the Duffer brothers are shaking fans awake with a major teaser reveal.
Released on Valentine’s day, the short clip titled From Russia with Love opens amidst a brewing snowstorm in the middle of Kamchatka, Russia. The camera pans over a line of workers slaving away as they build a railroad in the middle of nowhere, until it eventually closes in on a tired, rugged man who’s soon revealed as Hopper, fully alive and in once piece—much to the relief of fans who’d anguished over his supposed death by the season three finale.
Although the video doesn’t give away much of the fourth season’s plot beyond that, the big reveal is enough to confirm fans’ speculations over the series possibly expanding its setting outside of Hawkins Indiana.
"Season four is shaping up to be the biggest and most frightening season yet, and we cannot wait for everyone to see more. In the meantime—pray for the American," the Duffer brothers said in a statement.
