Remember when we rounded up the 10 most beautiful Starbucks’ in the world? Well it looks like another contender just came up in Japan, and there’s no denying how breathtaking it is.
Introducing Starbucks Hana Biyori, a cafe immersed in a greenhouse! Surrounded by lush greenery and colorful blooms, this particular branch first opened its doors last March 23, 2020 in the Hana Biyori Garden of Yomiuriland, a famous amusement park in Tokyo.
As you can easily tell from the photos alone, this Starbucks exudes a clear and tranquil atmosphere perfect for a casual and relaxing coffee break.
The greenhouse is decorated with rows of flowerbeds, and plants hung overhead, including begonias, fuchsias, petunias, geraniums and bellflowers.
Two large aquariums housing over 1200 fish may be viewed right across counter seats to keep lone customers company.
The first one spans 26 feet, while the second is a 9.8-foot tank that houses saltwater fish from Okinawa.
That’s not all. Aside from the real deal, this Starbucks greenhouse is reportedly equipped with 20 projectors and 18 speakers to produce an immersive audio-visual experience.
For four to six times a day, digital flora and fauna will be projected throughout the entire establishment while the lights are dimmed to get the full effect. How cool is that?
Given the current situation we can only view this gorgeous SB branch from our laptop or phone screens. But once things do get better on the traveling front, remember to put aside 1200 yen or approximately P560 to gain entrance to Yomiuriland!
