There are lots of reasons why Bali should be on your bucketlist—from pristine beaches, to hip IG-worthy hostels and beach clubs, to tons of good food coupled with the locals' warm hospitality. Here's something else to add to that list, though: Starbucks just opened a coffee sanctuary on the island, and it's the largest Southeast Asian branch of the coffee chain so far.
The Dewata Coffee Sanctuary, which is 20,000-square-feet wide, will take you on a coffee journey from bean to cup, starting with the coffee farm that customers can walk through. The store will also feature a seedling nursery where you can de-pulp and wash coffee beans. On the second floor is also Starbucks' first coffee-seedling greenhouse.
The café itself is gorgeous, with live flora and fauna from the region, as well as art installations by local artists. The menu will also carry over a hundred exclusive drinks, including a picture-perfect Lavender Latte. Time to pencil in that flight, stat!
