With the customization of any Starbucks drinks, be it in their line of coffee or tea, the results are, well, endless. You can even make milk tea at Starbucks or you can recreate those famous secret Starbucks recipes that always go viral! So as long as the ingredients are available here, you can literally make it by customizing your drink.
If you're new to the world of customized, off-the-menu Starbucks drinks, one that is popular, and is very much doable here in the Philippines, is the Starbucks Barista's Drink. This drink is known to be the go-to if you need a stronger dose of caffeine, perfect for the busiest of days and pulling all-nighters.
So what's in a Starbucks Barista's Drink? This is what the famous off-the-menu drink contains:
- Americano without the water
- Splash of breve (a mix of half milk, half cream)
- White chocolate mocha sauce (this is added cost)
- Served with loooots of ice
If you're anything like me, who prefer their coffee sweet and strong, then this could possibly replace your go-to Starbucks order, as it did for me. The sweetness is not cloying, the taste of coffee doesn't get lost in the sauce, and breve makes it creamy.
I paid P180 for a Grande-sized cup, as the added white chocolate mocha sauce already takes up P30 of the total bill. Based on other Starbucks Grande-sized drinks, the Starbucks Barista's Drink is priced just right. Not too expensive!
Want to try Starbucks Barista's Drink? It's a pretty simple recipe that's easy to memorize, but thankfully, you don't really have to because Starbucks baristas know what the drink is!
