If you’re a dedicated audiophile—or just someone who appreciates high-quality audio devices—then you’ve probably heard of Sony’s wildly popular WH-1000XM3 and WH-1000XM4 headphones, which were released in 2018 and 2020, respectively. Considered to be some of the best in their class, these headphones are known to deliver topnotch sound as well as powerful noise-cancellation. Now, Sony is back with a new model designed with many of the same great features, but at a more wallet-friendly price: Introducing the Sony WH-H910N Wireless Headphones, which are now available in the Philippines.

Originally unveiled by Sony in September 2021, the WH-910N offers a variety of specs and features made for music lovers at just P9,499. To put that into perspective, Sony’s previous WH-1000MX4 model—which boasted similar, if more premium, specs—was just below the 20 grand mark. According to the Sony website, the WH-910 headphones are available in five colors including Black, Blue, Ash Green, Orange, and Red. Each sports a sleek design made to sit comfortably on the head thanks to cushioned earpads and a silicone headband both of which promise a snug and stable fit. They’re also totally foldable, making them ideal for travelling.

Inside, these headphones are built with small but powerful 0.98-inch drivers with rigid alunimum domes and soft urethane-edge diaphragms made to achieve the same sound pressure as larger drivers while maintaning the device's lightweight build. What you get is audio that delivers a full range of frequencies from bass to mid to treble.

The headphones also provide what Sony calls 360 Reality Audio, which is spatial audio technology that gives your sound an immersive quality, as if coming from all directions—much like you’d get out of a live concert or in a recording studio. And speaking of immersive sound, yup, the headphones are built with noise cancellation thanks to dual noise-cancelling mics built in to the unit. These work by catching (and blocking out) the ambient sounds from your surroundings so you can listen to your tunes in peace. When used with the Sony Headphones Connect app, the noise-cancellation technology even has Adaptive Sound Control, which automatically adjusts the ambient sound settings depending on where you are or what you’re doing. If you prefer to customize the EQ settings yourself, you can do that with the app, too. That way, you get to listen to your music exactly as you like it every time.

Whether you're using these headphones on the go or while working from home, you'll be glad to know that the WH-H910N boasts 35 hours of battery life, promising all-day usage with no interruptons. And if you’re ever in a rush, you can get 2.5 hours of use after just 10 minutes of charging thanks to quick-charging technology.
