Song Hye Kyo’s newest K-drama is right around the corner, and we’re already praying for November to come faster.
Confirmed in March of this year, Now, We Are Breaking Up is a romance series that’s said to tackle the “many different flavors of love and breakups.” A few weeks ago, SBS teased the much-awaited show with stills of Hye Kyo's character hard at work as the manager of a fashion label’s design team.

Yep, you read that right. In case you missed it, the hallyu star is stepping into the shoes of a sartorial style queen named Ha Young-eun. As per prior reports, this successful career woman is described as an intelligent realist, who’s a professional in both work and love.

Starring opposite Hye Kyo is rising leading man Jang Ki Yong, who you might know from the My Roommate Is a Gumiho and the viral Korean movie Sweet & Sour. The actor is taking on the role of Yoon Jae-guk, a wealthy and handsome freelance photographer.

With less than a month away before its premiere, SBS recently uploaded a new teaser that finally features our ill-fated couple locking eyes while under the rain. FYI, the text on the screen reads, “Let’s at least love while we’re breaking up,” explaining the clip’s somber atmosphere.

Now, We Are Breaking Up will also star Choi Hee Seo (Mistress, Stranger 2) as Young-eun’s former schoolmate, and Kim Joo Heon (It's Okay to Not Be Okay, Start-Up) as a skilled PR company CEO. The drama’s first episode is set for release this coming November 12.
