Since the quarantine started, Solenn Heussaff was already dead set on giving her living room a new look. She wanted it to be a more minimalist, baby-friendly space—a major turnaround from the bold colors and decor it had originally. Though she already began the changes on her own, Solenn sought help from interior designer Cyndi Fernandez-Beltran of Moss Home to (literally) speed things up and achieve the look.
Here's what the living room looked like before the transformation:

And here's the finished look, after only three days!

According to Cyndi, they decided on a contemporary, minimalist theme that centers on a neutral color palette. They replaced the couches with a single L-shaped one and small chairs to improve the flow of the space and make it more spacious. To balance out the neutrals, Cyndi chose textured throw pillows, gold accents, and simple patterns on the new rug and coffee table decor. They also got rid of any harsh edges from furniture for baby Tili.

The plain palette aside, you'll still find splashes of color. The Moss Home team distributed framed artwork on shelves and plants around the room, livening up the space without being overwhelming.

One of our favorite pieces in the revamped space is this chic black and gold ceiling light. It was one of Solenn's mandatory pieces, too, and we don't blame her for falling in love with the clean, horizontal design.

As a gift to the Bolzicos, the Moss Home team went above and beyond and got them a Christmas tree (that they already decorated!). No wonder Solenn couldn't hold back her tears when the finished space was revealed! Nico Bolzico even quipped that she didn't cry that hard when he proposed.
